“Rocky Mountain High”

Trip Summary: Colorado and the Rocky Mountains are synonymous with rugged outdoor adventure. On this trip we will test our limits by climbing the two highest peaks in Colorado in a remote wilderness area. Just as pioneers and prospectors braved the elements, we will push beyond our limits and climb to new heights on this amazing R&R career expedition.
Itinerary:
Day 1 – Denver, CO
- Fly into Denver International Airport, ALL flights arrive by noon
- Transport everyone from the airport to the campground, approximately 3 hour drive to the Elbert Creek Campground area
- Set up camp
- Team dinner
- Possible team activity around campfire
Day 2 – Climb the first 14’er
- Following breakfast, prepare packs for hike of Mt. Elbert. Mt. Elbert is 14,439 ft. and the tallest mountain in Colorado
- Return to the campground following the hike
- Team debriefing about the hike
- Team dinner
- Campfire time
Day 3 – Climb the second 14’er
- Following breakfast, prepare packs for hike of Mt. Massive at 14,429 ft.
- Return to the campground following the hike
- Team debriefing about the hike
- Team dinner
- Campfire time
Day 4 – Return to Denver Hotel
- Following breakfast, team building follow up activity
- Break down camp and drive to hotel in Denver or close to the airport
- Team dinner
- Team debriefing about the weekend
Day 5 – Fly out of Denver International Airport
- Following breakfast, transport everyone to the airport
- ALL flights need to leave around 2pm
- End of “Rocky Mountain High”
